14 Steps to Website Design and Hosting Success.

STEP 1. - Choose Your Domain Name.
Knowing your target market will help you to identify which domain names you should register. If you are a New Zealand based business your customers are more than likely going to be searching for companies with a .co.nz domain extension. To make it easy for your customers to identify your business as a locally based business it is advisable but by no means essential for you to have a .co.nz domain extension. ie yourcompany.co.nz

STEP 2. - Register Your Domain Name.
Register your domain name through our domain registration service or phone us and we will complete the registration of your domain name for you on 0800-wifiweb That's 0800-943493.

STEP 3. - Sites You Like.
Make a note of 2 or 3 sites which you like the look of and email them to us. This helps us to gain some direction and clarity about the type of styles, layout and colours you like.

STEP 4. - Send Us Your Logo.
If you already have a log designed then we can make contact with your logo designer to facilitate the transfer of your logo in digital format to us for our designers to use. If you do not have a logo designed then we also offer a full logo design service including if needed letterhead and business cards.

STEP 5. - Choose Your Colours & Fonts.
Decide on specific colours and fonts you would like us to use. If you are not sure on what type of styles you want then we can suggest several font options and colours for you to consider. Often we use colours from the same colour palete as your logo as we find this produces some of the best looking results.

STEP 6. - Email Accounts Setup.
Send us a list of the email accounts you would like to have operating under your domain name. We offer a range of premium website hosting plans which include email hosting with unlimited email accounts.

STEP 7. - Send Us Your Content or We Can Create it For You.
Once we have recieved your logo and have some idea about the types of websites you like the look of then we will need some content for each page. Generally this involves a discussion with you about what you want to say on each page and an overview of how the pages will flow.

STEP 8. - Design Concept.
Once we recieve your content we can make a start on creating your website. At this stage we can also provide you with an optional design concept. The charge for this service is an additional $100 and will provide you with the opportunity to see what your site might look like before we proceed with the physical design of the web pages.

STEP 9. - Design Concept Sign Off.
We deliver to you the first proof of one or more pages of your site for approval. Once you are happy with the overall design concept then we will proceed to build the additional pages in your site.

STEP 10. - Content Changes & Minor Design Changes.
Following step 9 we make any adjustments and changes to your website content and design and work towards the final proof of your site before it goes live.

STEP 11. - Final Sign Off.
This is your chance to make any final changes to the site and to proof our work and sign off the content. Your site is now ready to go live. It is important at this point to make sure that all critical contact information is accurate and correct.

STEP 12. - Testing Phase.
We do our final testing in all the most popular web browsers to ensure that your websit will display correctly across all of the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Fire Fox and Safari

STEP 13. - Go Live!!!
We upload your site to our Website Hosting Server and your site is now live on the Internet for your customers, friends and family to visit.

STEP 14. - Search Engine Submission.
This is the final step in our initial design process where we submit your site to all the major search engines so that the pages of your site can be indexed with them and have the chance of appearing in the search engine results pages.
